Paddington’s story is one of heartbreak, resilience, and, above all, love. Found abandoned and tragically struck by a car, he was rescued by Saving Belladonna and rushed to emergency care. He had a total of 11 fractures in his jaw, face, and skull (nasal, orbital, mandible, front of jaw, and TMJ joint). His surgeon performed 2 surgeries, reconnecting the bottom jaw that was separated and then fixing the TMJ.
Despite the efforts of dedicated rescuers like Milo The Bravest, volunteers, and veterinarians, the extent of his injuries proved too great. Paddington fought bravely, but in the end, his body could not overcome the trauma and infection.
Though his time with us was short, his impact is immeasurable. Paddington was a cat who knew love, who wanted nothing more than warmth and care, and whose story has touched the hearts of so many. In his memory, we are continuing the fight to save others like him.

To honor Paddington’s legacy, Saving Belladona is raising funds to help other cats in desperate need, like Mia, Gemma and several little kittens and cover pending veterinary bills. Every dollar donated goes toward emergency medical care, shelter, and the hope for a second chance. We donated a cat lover basket with some of our products made by Titunes to Saving Belladonna with of candles, soaps, cat toys, and more to be used in a raffle in Paddi’s Memory. We included our new Paddintong’s candle collection, inspired by his story.
